The latest chapter is in the queue for Saturday morning here in the US. I know I'm the guy that wrote it, but when I go back and re-read it, especially the discussion with James Roberts... this is going to sound like I'm patting myself on the back here, and that's not my intention. That whole conversation that happens just sounds... real... to me, if that makes any sense. I'm curious to find out what you think once you've had a chance to read it.
As for progress on finishing the book, I'm writing Chapter 26, and otherwise just chilling. Literally - it's 15 (-9 C), with a wind chill of -2 (-19 C), and we've had 10" (25 cm) of snow in the last 24 hours. I know, I'm from Indiana, so those are rookie numbers, but this is Oklahoma now, so not only don't people know how to drive on it, but I've been down here long enough as a Damned Yankee I like the warmth a bit more.
The effectively new house is done other than some minor fiddly bits, so we'll probably write the contract on it next Friday, and start having furniture delivered. We've already started moving some boxes over to the garage, and we'll put that in high gear next week. I do have a closing later this month, so income is good, too!
