I finally got around to posting chapter 10. I had it completed a few weeks ago but haven't gotten around to read through it and correct some of the mistakes.
Back in the early 1990s (1991-1992) I wrote my first story using the pen name "Racecar." I posted it on "Rusty and Edies" BBS (the web was still in its development stages), and I was surprised at the number of people who emailed me requesting more of the story. The requests came from the U.S.A. as well as from Europe. I finished 6 chapters and added an epilog. I received many requests to continue the story so I wrote another chapter but never posted it. I did receive several ideas for future chapters and even had a few new chapters sent to me from other authors. One of these was also posted on SOL.The story was rife with many typos, poor (or missing) punctuation, and generally hard to read. I noticed it posted on SOL by another individual just as I had written it. It was also posted on another bdsm site.
The title of the story is "The Atonement." I have corrected many of the errors, edited it a bit with the exception of the chapters sent to me by others. I would like to post that version as well as an additional chapter submitted to me by a reader. I will not edit those chapters since the author's name are included.
I'm not certain that SOL will allow me to post the revised edition, but I'll give it a try in the coming weeks.
