"And why would we be invited - even if they have something like that?"
"Well, it will impress any race that has space travel when they see Ship. Oh, you know that we'll have to converse with many… beings as we try to develop information about Ship's people. So, we'll probably get to know a lot of beings from many alien races. Jeff, you have some beautiful wives. Surely some of those societies will have something like a banquet or a meet-and-greet kind of thing. When your wives walk in wearing evening dresses, every adult humanoid male there will have an erection," she finished before he could continue.
Jeff just looked at her and shook his head. "You're delusional," he said with a sigh. "Beautiful, but delusional."
"She is stunning, though, isn't she?" his Queen asked while glancing at his crotch before pouncing verbally, "You're getting an erection just thinking about her."
"I am not," he denied. "I was looking at your boobs as they moved under your top when you breathed."
"Liar. Liar. Pants on fire," she singsonged...
