I've fielded guesses about the next steps in the story, a host of variants on 'thanks for writing' and 'hurry up with the next chapter' and stuff like that. Occasionally someone writes in to disagree. Take this morning for example. A short note from someone who can't find the shift key, and believes periods are something only women have, wrote in to say the following.

Apparently he's fan of the violent retribution stories other authors contribute here. ...sigh... Can't please everyone, I guess, though trolls like this guy are part of the reason I left the voting and comments turned off until the story's final chapter is posted.
