Hello Malachar's Curse readers! I just wanted to give anyone who's interested a heads up. Chapter ten is finished, but I feel that it would be better received if I published both ten and eleven at the same time in the interest of continuity. It seems as if I have the same problem that some writers have (Oddly enough, they also happen to be a couple of my favorites) things get bigger than I planned. (Stephen King, Robert Jordan, Terry Goodkind...I'm sure there are others, but I'm exhausted, and my brain is running at low capacity.) What originally-in my head-was going to be one large chapter has morphed into three large chapters!
Chapter nine was 18,652 words, and right now (before the last edit), chapter ten is sitting at 15,346. I have just started chapter eleven, and I would hazard a guess that it will end up containing around 12,000 or so. At least I am true to myself, I am writing what I like to read, long-ass novels full of description and character development. Please have patience, chapter ten and eleven are on their way, and then I am going to post chapter 38 of Curiosity Killed the Cat, which is about a fifth of the way written.
