I always see a lot of serial stories on this site, and I get a lot of comments about "More!", "You can't end it there", "The end, NO WAY!" and such.
I have written two books that were published, both industry-related, non-fiction books.
I honestly don't understand how a writer of erotica can literally write a book about one set of characters. I end a story when it gets to feeling redundant to me. That's when I begin thinking of a new story with new characters in a different situation. I try to write on a variety of topics, even stepping out of my comfort zone on occasion, as I did with "Hide and Seek". I'm almost finished with one about a cuckold husband.
The time involved in writing a book is tedious, and nerve racking. Writing erotica is my 'release' from real life, except for "My Life Story" which I wrote and posted simply to cut down on the redundant questions so many readers were asking me.
Anyway that's why I don't write serial stories. I welcome your opinions on that.
