After the "Great Compromise" between the Androcratic Regime, the Equalist, and the Female Liberation Front (FLF), society was split in two worlds: the Patriarchy and the Matriarchy.
All women at 18 years old, no matter which society they were born into, decide if they will live in the Matriarchy or the Patriarchy.
If they choose the Matriarchy, they are forced to live in a women-only Reservation and are not allowed to ever leave after they made their choice.
The Reservations were set up to be self-sufficient with only Bronze Age technology. The women were given seeds for grains and vegetables, fruit trees, and animals such as chickens, goats, and sheep. The women were given bronze tools such as hoes, knives, sheep shears, etc. They were also given bronze athames for Triple Goddess rituals, and given bronze labrys for worshiping the White Goddess. The only modern technology allowed is AI-controlled Medical Centers where women are healed of any injury or illness, or to be artificially inseminated up to twice in their lifetime.
If women choose to live in the Patriarchy, they start off as free women if they were raised in the Patriarchy. They can volunteer to become slavegirls if any man agrees to be their Master. Women raised in the Matriarchy can only be slavegirls in the Patriarchy. All women in the Patriarchy, free women and slavegirls, can choose to leave the Patriarchy at any time. However, they are never allowed to return to the Patriarchy.
