Hey folks, I've just submitted chapter 30 for posting. The fightback starts!
I've had a bit of a torrid time with it recently. The hard drive in the machine I do all my writing on failed a couple of weeks ago. I still haven't managed to recover it yet, so I'm working from a recent backup. Unfortunately I had added stuff that hadn't been backed up. I don't think I lost any changes or edits for this chapter. I hope! However I'm pretty certain I've lost edits in later chapters. In fact I know I have :(
On the plus side, the four chapters I still haven't finished (the reason I'm publishing at such a slow rate), I have now finished the first of. I'm going to leave it for a couple of weeks to let it settle, then go back and look it over properly before letting Omachuck and the other editors loose on it.
Whether my muse has actually returned yet I'm not certain. We'll see.
