I've received both public and private constructive criticism about some of the content in A Well-Lived Life (mostly on the political side). I understand this isn't some people's cup of tea, and that many (most?) people disagree with Steve's politics.
That said, if you can get past the politics, Book 10 will resolve many of the arcs and lead to AWLL3, which is going to increasingly focus on the kids, including telling the story from their point of view (i.e. Steve will not be the sole narrator - Birgit, Jesse, and the other kids will narrate as well). And it will include FAR less politics. Chapters of AWLL3 - Book 1 are available on my Patreon.
Short version: I hear you. And I'll fix it. The politics won't go away, but they will be reduced significantly in future books.
