Themed Stories

Today I did something I have not done before. I posted an erotic story with a seasonal theme (New Year's, in his case). Why have I never done this before?
Well, long story short, it usually doesn't fit where my writer's brain wants to take me. This brain of mine literally has a mind of its own when I'm tapping out on the keys, and things take unexpected turns. However, this time, it struck me like a bolt of lightning that this story was perfect. It was one of those stories that comes to you fully formed, and I had to put it down right away before it grew legs and ran away from my psyche.
The story is entitled, 'Since Last Year,' and is set on the morning of New Year's Day. Young Jade skips downstairs to go wake her boyfriend up, who simultaneously wanted to drink for New Year's and spend time with her the night before, and so stayed over the night to be safe. She kisses him, and although she worries about getting caught, eventually agrees to, ah...sheath his sword. Repeatedly. Meanwhile, her brother's savvy friend convinces him they should covertly watch, and the younger boys all wish they had girlfriends at the end of the episode.
This story came totally out of the blue. I had been considering writing a Christmas story inspired by the Pogues' song, 'Fairytale of New York,' and getting into detail about really happened (which would, admittedly, have a very gradual plot and not much humping in the first few chapters) but decided against it for this year at least due to the holidays being crazy this year.
Those of you who read my work, please let me know what you think of 'Since Last Year,' and whether or not I should write more 'themed,' stories. What in the story got you hot? I prefer to up the quality of my work based on those who enjoy it, so don't hesitate to tell me what went right! Do consider I write stories that turn me on (advice from a writing friend of mine), so I know they're not total flops.
Cheers, Everybody, and Happy New Year!
