For those of you curious and impatient, here is my explanation.
Rosalie is, ultimately, rather taken off-guard at the scene in front of her, and primarily shocked. About halfway through she becomes sympathetic to their plight, and afterwards, reliving it in her head, she becomes aroused by it--hence, the brief bit in the bathtub where she masturbates. Subsequent voyeuristic experiences are more involved--she becomes aroused more quickly since the shock-factor is low to none, and takes advantage of that.
