First off, I'd like to extend my condolences to Michael Loucks and his family for their loss. I know it can't be easy losing a child, no matter how old the child is. Parent's are not supposed to outlive their offspring.

As for my story...
I'd like to say that I've finished writing 'The Loser' and have it ready for posting.
I'd like to say that I am sure you will enjoy what happens with Andy and the people in his life.
I'd like to say that I am happy with what I have written.
Unfortunately, I can't say any of that because none of it is true.
I had several chapters written about what takes place at the trading grounds and the meetings with other clans, but I was not happy with any of it. I had Andy's clan more than doubling in size from one encounter before deciding to cut it back to just an increase of three new members. That decision eliminated most of the two previous chapters which dealt with the acquisition. The following chapters then became meaningless. All I am left with is a few paragraphs about the beginning of the day at the trading grounds, and I'm not really happy with those either.
About the only thing about those chapters I am happy with is that I didn't post them.
Oh well, here's hoping my muse will give me some new ideas soon.
