It's been pointed out that computers were in use much earlier than my current story (Hardware & Harmony)indicated. I'm usually reasonably careful about things like that since I remember when I bought my first desktop, and my first time borrowing the office "portable" ... if you could call it that.
Anyway, I made some adjustments to the timeline in the story as it was being written and didn't pick up on the fact that I'd shifted the years to well past when computers became more common in use. My error, but I don't have the energy to go back and rewrite the story to fix that. I hope you'll accept that it's one of those things that doesn't (I hope) really diminish the thrust of the story.
Someone else wrote me to let me know that my dating of the VW Beetle Nick bought was haywire. In fact, the original beetle (rear engine/air cooled)was produced in Mexico long after Wolfsburg ended production.
Life is getting more complicated every day!
