I'm working on chapter 6 as I write this. I have it written, but part of my routine is write it, leave it alone for a day or 3, re-read it and edit as I read, leave it alone again for a few days, and repeat the re-reading and edit process...
I find that leaving it for a few days means it's easier for me to catch mistakes, bad sentence structure, lame or awkward dialog, sequencing errors with when things are said and so on...
