Hello everyone,
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for being so understanding about my break last week. I needed the time to catch up on real-life things, but I still managed to get a few chapters written. Right now, I’m figuring out how I want the story to end. I’ve already written one epilogue, but I’m unsure if I’ll go with it or take things in another direction.
I don’t plan to drag the story out much longer—I doubt everyone wants a day-by-day breakdown of Josh and Katie’s life.
On the work front, Ricky is finally off light duty, which means fewer distractions for me.
To everyone who has emailed, commented, and voted—thank you! I truly appreciate the support. I appreciate every single one of you who has stuck with me on this journey. More chapters are coming soon!

I just wanted to apologize for the issues in Chapter 50. Like I mentioned in the comments, I’ve been a bit behind due to being sick and dealing with a very chatty new co-worker. Since I do most of my writing at work, I messed up during editing and missed the different revisions I made to the chapter.
I’m almost done with Chapter 51 and plan to have it in the queue tomorrow. Thanks to everyone who emailed or commented—it really helps!

Hello, everyone! I hope you all had a safe and wonderful holiday.
I needed to update Chapter Thirty-Nine to include a scene I missed. I’ve marked the edit with ***** at the beginning and end to help those who’ve already read the chapter find the new content easily. It’s a small addition but important for the bigger picture of the story.
Over the holidays, I was down for two weeks with something nasty. Some chapters I wrote during that time might not reflect my usual clarity. Thankfully, I’m back to feeling normal again well, as normal as I can be.
