In all my work and pieces I have altered or written by others, I strive to retain an amount of real places. I research the internet for info on people and places rather than fictionlise them.
Do you all do this?
I am penning a tale with cheerleaders in the UK but with a new American recruit because her father is working here.
I aim to write her dialogues in the southern states vernacular, like Ya'all, cain't etc. Is there any sort of a guide for that?
The other way would be for me to enlist the help of US member in SOL who would correct/advise, using my text as the basis.

Haven't been in since 4th Jan as my pooter was trojanned, hacked and I was very nearly scammed for a lot of money. Thankfully OK but my computer was so corrupted, it had to be newly formatted and only got it back this afternoon. Now learning Windows 10 as I was on 8.1 and trying to find the stuff I had legit and not legit, if you see what I mean,such as the stories in the pipeline.
