Well, chapter four of "Twins: A Love Story" is out, and judging by the comments I've received, Sue's decision to sleep with someone came as too much a bolt from the blue. It had always been part of the road map for the twins to have an open relationship. However, I probably should have done a better job of foreshadowing what Sue was going to do.
Let it not be said that I don't learn from my mistakes. I will work on chapter five, but I will also go back over the previous chapters and try to find a way to set up the final scene of chapter four better. This will probably mean things like adding additional scences, reworking already existing scenes, and possibly introducing Robert as an actual character. Unfortunately, the revisions probably won't be ready at the same time as chapter five. So if you were one of the ones who were disappointed in chapter four, I ask you to have some patience.

I'm about to upload "Twins: A Love Story" chapter four. I'm also uploading the newest revsions of chapters one through three. Typically, my revisions are the result of cleaning and polishing the text and have no significant change in meaning. This time, however, I have certain events of the nearly oral scene in chapter two to mesh better with my purpose for both that scene and this chapter. If you don't normally reread previous chapters, I would still encourage you to go over chapter two again.
I am also updating the codes for the story to reflect everything I know will occur during the course of the story. Obviously, not all of the tagged items will happen in this chapter.
However, John and Sue have already to do things I didn't expect, and no doubt they will do so again. So I may still have to update the tages in the future.
I am returning to work after a COVID-19 scare. I'm an essential worker, yay. Unfortunately, this will mean new chapters start coming out more slowly.
