Hosting companies come and go (Yahoo! Business is on it’s sixth or eighth name.) In this case, a software upgrade apparently ate the list. We’ve had to move the wiki again, too. We are working on the list issue, and the wiki is temporarily at https://tampaad.net/index.php?title=Main_Page
Thinker
I've had a bunch of people say, "Why don't you just post it on SOL?" If the story isn't safe on Bookapy, it isn't REALLY safe on SOL. I really, REALLY hope that mine and the works of numerous other authors that have been previously posted are grandfathered.
About a year ago, I realized that I really did have enough of Episode Six written to publish. I sent it to my new editor, who has taught me about a couple of glaring issues in my writing, but has limited availability, and he set to work on it. In the meantime, having learned those lessons, I set about editing and updating the first five episodes, making some changes such as increasing little Cheesecake's age to 14, an age historically considered safe for publishing. The intent was to publish the entire set on Bookapy; I even started creating book covers. However, when I prepared to publish the first episode there, I ran headlong into the fact that Canada had recently enacted laws regarding sex involving underage characters even more restrictive than those in the U.S.! Since among other things, little Cheesecake is pivotal to the storyline and I had written several chapters of activity between her, Pietro, Lillian Horner, and Gabriel Vasquez, it appears that while I assume that I continue to be grandfathered for previous content, I cannot release Episode Six. Nobody is more irritated that I am.
...But I haven't been posting. Actually, I endured a dry spell of several months in there at one point. 'Rebecca' is an item that might be considered odd for me, as there is no actual sex in it. I initially intended to include at least one sex scene, but upon re-reading it, I realized it was complete as-is.
I want to thank the reader who pointed out to me that some jerk calling himself Simon Gerrard has stolen my story 'Connie' and is selling it on Amazon under a different title! I might recommend to other authors that they look over this person's catalog and see if they, too, have been robbed! I have contacted Amazon -- we'll see what they do about it.
