I've just posted Chapter 3 of the rewritten Carrying the Flag. You might say the plot is beginning to thicken.
Feedback is appreciated, of course.
After I downloaded the ebook version I found three really embarrassing goofs. I'm sorry, JJ, my fault not yours.
I suggest my early-bird readers download the changed file after it is replaced.

I have just submitted the first chapter of the new version of Carrying the Flag. I've spent roughly 8 months rewriting what had been an abbreviated and, frankly, not very good story, one that ended much too soon.
How long will this version be? Frankly, I don't know. What I can tell you is that I have 11 more chapters nearly ready for posting. I plan to post them on a weekly schedule.
While that is going on I will be working on chapters 13 - ?? so I can maintain that schedule when the first 12 are up.
If you are NOT familiar with my Naked in Central High Series I strongly urge you to start at the beginning, with Carl Naked in School. These start out as fairly typical NiS stories but have grown beyond that and, I hope, become more interesting as a result.
At the very least, treat yourself to the stories beginning with Carl and Beth Do Sex Ed in Middle School, where you'll get to know Carl Walker's "little" sister Dee. She'll grow on you.
Please bear in mind that the only reward I get for my efforts is your feedback. As Audrey, the plant in Little Shop Of Horror says, FEED ME!
One other note: A character like Dee comes along once in a writer's lifetime. Judy Liu, the protagonist of CTF is a different, more complex character with a troubled background. She hopes you'll like her, and her new friend Hadiya.
