For Adela’s Class, chapters seven and eight post late Thursday night, July 17.
I know it’s been quiet. I wasn’t kidnapped by demonic galactic crustaceans. My air conditioner broke, and therefore my brain boiled. With working A/C, these new chapters are romantic, sweet, and miraculously free of cosmic seafood.
Meanwhile, my two single adults and their twenty‑year‑old “kids” remain dangerously enthusiastic about falling in love and finding private places to express it.
Looking for romance? Adela’s Class could be a short story you’d enjoy.

Good luck to you during the awful air pollution and heat wave.
I’ve gone back to my early days here at SOL for a story I wrote three years ago, when I was still finding my footing as an author. This 2026 edition has been carefully reworked—chapter by chapter—to correct, condense, and strengthen the original text.
Even with its rough edges, the first release in 2023 earned a generous 7.7 rating from SOL readers. I’m very grateful for that support, and I’d like to think this new version is much improved.
Set in Arizona, Marriage of Concupiscence (lust) is an erotic drama of rescue, romance, humor, family, caring, and joy. Two women, a man, and two daughters work to build an unconventional but tightly bonded life together—messy at times, loving throughout.
I welcome all of your public or private comments. Thank you for reading!
