It has been about two months since I updated the story here. I took a complete month off writing while I focused on my recent move across the globe. Now that I've settled, I've started writing again. It was about another month before I finally posted here and on other sites as well. That being said, I'm going to play a little bit of catch-up and post twice a week for the next few chapters while I get a little more caught up. I've already started Book Two, so I will at least finish Book 1 here on a twice-a-week basis, posting on Mondays and Thursdays. I also have a giant of backlogged emails and messages that I haven't been able to get to, and not sure I will be able to any time soon. Just know that I'm not dead and am back to writing as close to full-time as I can get. Thanks for your continued interest in the story.

Sorry for anyone waiting on the next chapter. I had a lot going on and had to skip a week. I'm back and just posted a new chapter that should be live shortly after it's approved. Thanks for your interest in my work and the story. There's some exciting things coming up soon for Marcus.
I'm also working on a fantasy series that I'll be posting in the somewhat near future.

Hey guys! I've been pretty busy with this whole writing thing on top of balancing a full-time job. That being said, I've been able to make time to write regularly.
I feel the quality of my writing has improved mechanically rather quickly, as I've enjoyed everyone's feedback. It's also helped me in the development of the story as well.
On top of improving my writing, I've also started developing another series, as well as been working on some bonus content for The Love of Money. This new story will be a fantasy series with some LITRPG elements.

I'll continue to post new chapters here once a week on Mondays. Thank you for the time and attention you've dedicated to my stories so far.
So I ran into an issue where some of the platforms I post on aren't keen on things some of the more coercive elements of my story, so in order to keep consistency, I've renamed my last chapter and the two next chapters moving forward that deal exclusively with Bobbi. The latest chapter has been renamed 5a. The next two will be 5b and 5c. And then I'll continue on. So some of the more mild versions of this story can appear cohesive and in tact, since some of the darker elements of this story might not be to everyone's taste.
That being said, a few more rewrites and updates need to happen in the next two chapters, which have put me a couple days behind.
Again, I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to read my story thus far and those who have provided feedback. It's been very helpful and appreciated.
A couple of people have pointed out that the amount Marcus receives is more than the 5 richest men combined. This is on purpose for plot reasons and because I wanted the amount to be utterly insane to literally make just about anything possible.
I'd also like to point out that the main character is a human with his own biases and predispositions. He will make stupid decisions based off those biases, emotion, or just making the wrong call.
There will also be scenarios in this story that I do not personally approve of, nor would I ever condone in reality. This is a fantasy meant to scratch an itch that can't (and in some cases shouldn't) be scratched in real life.
As has been said before, my kinks aren't my politics.
