Hello,
Many of you will have noticed I recently posted a new story,
Grace & Glory (and it has just been updated with spelling corrections) but I've received a few messages about it and decided to address a few things here.
Firstly, thank you for the feedback. I'm a love to hear it both good and bad.
Next, this was originally a commission from around two years ago, but after completing the first draft, the original customer was unreachable. So I pushed it aside and completely forgot about it. I only stumbled across it while cleaning out my hard drive and decided to spend and afternoon turning it into a finished short story.
I actually have a few of these type of story's from unfinished works or just unpolished works I wrote for my own amusement, so it you like these shorter standalone pieces let me know. If you want one of your own, I could do a few commissions.
Now onto Puzzle Box Genie. Honestly, I don't know when or if it will ever be completed. Now it has caught up with where the original version stopped, I'm kind of at a loss. While I feel like it owe it to my reader to finish it, I'm sort of over it, and more interested in focusing on other works.
Anyway, thanks again, keep the feedback coming, and watch this space.
So, as members of my discord will already know, I'm having an eye operation next week that means I won't be posting for a few weeks. All going well, I hope to aim for around 3 weeks, but it could be up to 6 weeks. It all depends on the success of the operation and recovery. My post op check up is on the 16th of October so I will have a better idea then. It may be that I slow posting down to every 2 weeks as I continue to recover, but don't want to commit to anything this early.
Now, onto chapter 39, it's a long one. I wanted to make sure to give you something to enjoy before the break. As such, it's taking longer to finish than normal, so I'm aiming to post it by on Wednesday (28th September), the day before my op.
Sorry for the delay but I promise its worth it.
Unfortunate this weeks chapter, (33), will be delayed by 1 week. I've got a particularly busy week and 32 chapters in, im feeling a little burnt out. The next chapter is a good one so I promise it will be worth the wait.
I wanted to get some input from both new and returning readers.
How does everyone feel about adding a element of conflict to the story that wasn't there the first time around? I don't meen some epic save the world, good vs evil type conflict, but something smaller yet significant enough to build character and progress the story.
Add conflict or just keep it sex driven?
It's you im writing/reworking this for, so I value all your feedback and input.
