I have published a short story about how Robin Hood became an outlaw. It's available on zbookstore
For those who may have missed it, Elcano Book 2 is now on sale at zbookstore. Chapter 1 has been posted here, and episodes will continue to be posted at 2 week intervals.

Now that book 1 of Elcano has been finished, I thought my readers might like to know which parts were true and which from my imagination.
If anyone is interested, drop me a line and I'll do my best to answer any queries.

I have submitted the last chapter of Elcano to be published. This is a very short chapter, so I thought it best to publish it now rather than waiting for 2 weeks.
I am working on the next volume which describes the actual Magellan voyage with a mix of history and imagined events. I'm not sure when I will be able to finish it, but I'm aiming for the end of the year.
Let me know how you found this story and if you would like to see more of the same type of historical fiction. I'm thinking of Francis Drake who made the same circumnavigation of the world many years after Elcano. Then I have some thoughts about the child Elcano left behind with the Beothuk; what happened to Sean; the fate of Gaston in the hands of the Barbary pirates; the Loaiza circumnavigation during which Elcano died etc.

With a lot of effort, I managed to recover 14,000 words of Elcano 2. So, the task of continuing will be a lot easier than I had feared. However, this has set back my plans to continue publication of Elcano 2 as soon as the last chapter of Elcano 1 had been posted.
But, it will be published in due course.
