Chapter 7 - the final chapter - has been submitted for posting.

'Saving Amanda' is about a young woman running away
from events in her life, of which she's unable to cope with.
In her confused state of mind, she makes a series of erratic
decisions which almost gets her killed.

At the last possible moment of her life, she is rescued by a
reclusive, retired military medic. He too had run away
- from society - back home to the mountain where he was

The Cowboy Rides Away

My heart is sinking like a setting sun
Setting on the things I wish I'd done
It's time to say goodbye to yesterday
This is where the cowboy rides away

Tomorrow, July 1, 2018 - I will ride away from SOL.

This comes with a feeling of great sadness - Yet I have decided
to move on and discover new Venues and new Trails.

I will eventually have ALL my stories edited and posted on Patreon.

Some are there now and I'm still in the process of adding more as I prepare them for posting.

OF COURSE - I will leave my last story - Saving Amanda - here at SOL until I have the next (last) chapter posted... and leave the story up for a few days... possibly weeks.

Lazeez has assured me that my name - JRyter - will remain for one year, or even longer, if I should post more stories here. I'm sure, there will come a time in the future when I'll post another story on SOL.

I'm not leaving angry - I PRAISE LAZEEZ - for his efforts in making SOL THE BEST free-story site on the internet today.

Just so you will know, I have posted stories under two more aliases over the years. Those stories too, will soon fade away, never to be seen on SOL again... Some of you may have guessed, but only a few have asked if - MoBetta OR THE REBEL, were actually JRyter - with a mask on his face...

With stories posted under three Author's Names, I have accumulated a grand total of 3,860,500 (+) downloads - and I thank each and every one of you who have followed my stories, for allowing me to entertain you during the
time we've had together.

I want to thank ALL the Volunteer Editors who worked with me over the years. They alone, are the reason my stories fared so well. I gave them my wild imagination - tangled in the words I mangled together - and they in turn, gave me the finished product in a way that made it readable, if not enjoyable... My hat is off to you guys who worked tirelessly for free, just to help me post my stories.

If there is ever a Wanted Poster out for me - here is where you'll find me

HERE: for all my current & future stories, pics, comics, and posts:

HERE: for notice of new content and/or changes @ Patreon: jrytersstories_group@yahoogroups.com

Adios Amigos, perhaps we will ride the Goodnight/Loving Trail again one day.

If I happen see you riding alongside The Drifter, I'll tip my hat to you in passing...

Years Ago:

Being queer didn't mean you're gay
Being gay only meant you're happy

Yesterday in the news:

Grandpas in overalls
Grandmas in menopause
Outlaws for in-laws
Good Ol' Boys without flaws
Honey Buns and Bear Claws

Today in the news:

Boy Scouts who wear bras
Little Leaguers with no balls
Gender Change by Heroes
From Cheerios to Zeroes
Broke Back Cowpokes

Backpacks full of Wacky Smokes
Hood wearing a hoodie in the street
A new pair of Mike's Nikes on his feet
Another pair tied over his shoulder
Black mask on his face, makes him bolder

Sniffing white stuff through a straw
Won't get you in trouble with the law
Do it once, it'll only make you feel sort of faded
But keep on... it'll make your babies be born naked
