You've been patient while I've been busy. Chapters 18-25 are in queue and will come at a steady rate over the next couple of weeks. I'll try and keep the queue fed with more chapters to keep a steady pace.
I now have 7 books written, and material for an 8th. Books 3-7 will also need some polishing but significantly less.
If I were to make the rough drafts available on Patreon, would you be interested?

2 — Earth: Starting Notes 213,648
3 — The Lives We Build 160,825
4 — What We Become 115,914
5 — The Roads We Open 205,452
6 — The Ways We Live 139,441
Current series total

And book 6 is about 2/3 done. So yeah. Note to self. Stop writing start editing.
I'm in the process of doing a final editorial review of Book 2. I've just submitted chapter 7 to the posting queue. New chapters will start appearing, hopefully once or twice a week.
In other news, books 3-5 have been written and will also need a final polish, and I'm working on book 6. As you can see, I probably have too many irons in the fire, but it also means that new material will be appearing for a good while to come, for those who are still interested.
I've done it. I've finished the full re-edit of Book 1. I'm reposting all the chapters in one go, so hopefully nothing gets borked. For those who have read the story, nothing essentially changes, except the writing style. The original version was very dialogue-driven, which some people found hard to read, and also wreaked havoc when I tried to get a dead-tree version of the book printed. I've re-written it to be much more narrative, but it doesn't change the plot or the characters, the overall tone stays the same, and it generally reads much better IMHO.
Book 1 review took longer than expected. Blame work.
I am actively working on book 2 again and new chapters will start appearing shortly.
On the plus side, good things are happening for book 3 :)
