As the conclusion to Bound: The Gift of Desire is in the process of uploading, I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their support. Whether that comes in the form of voting, leaving a comment, or just spending the time to read it, I'm incredibly grateful for your consideration. It really does mean a lot to work so hard on something and know that people enjoyed it. I'll always post my stuff on this website for everyone to enjoy, but if you'd like to support me, you can find ways to do that by visiting my Reddit profile.

Though the first book is ending, that isn't the end of the series. There are lots of unresolved plot threads about which I have volumes of notes. Rest assured, they will be explored in future titles. George and his companion will return with plenty of action, romance, and adventure. Who cursed George and why? Can he end it before it kills him? What is the Source, and how will it change the world now that it's been opened? And what about Chroma Corp? All this and more is coming.
This has been a great experience for me, and you can bet I'll be back with more soon. Until then, DM out.
Hello everyone. I'm really excited to post my new book, Bound: The Gift of Desire, here on SOL. It's been in active development for two years, but its history goes back further than that. The book is actually a reimagining of an old story I posted here back in 2007 called A Beautiful Wish. It's probably still archived; I'm not sure, though. I wrote under the penname 800ibgorrila back then. Unfortunately, I never finished it due to many difficult real-world problems involving money, family, girlfriends, failed ventures, and death. Thankfully, not all at once.
But things change. Life goes on. I'm mentally in a much better place, and I have time to write again. I kept A Beautiful Wish close to my heart for 15 years, ruminating on what I could do to improve it. I'm happy to finally have a completed story available for everyone to enjoy, and I hope it lives up to its predecessor.
This retelling shares many of the themes and imagery of the old version but addresses some fundamental issues with the structure and allows for a much broader setting to tell stories in. Even though the book is finished, I'm very keen to get your opinion on it, good or bad, so please comment or DM me. The sequel is in production right now, and your feedback could be instrumental in helping me create a better finished product.
Keep an eye on Bound while I add the remaining chapters. I suppose that if you wanted to read ahead and support me in the process, you could find the completed work for purchase where all fine books are sold, but that's just a rumor. Regardless, I hope you enjoy the story, and I wish you well.
