Chapter 7 is up and things are getting heated. This is a lot of fun to write but hard some days to find the time.
Was tenting for part of my vacation and squeezed in a little fishing. Didn't get to do much writing out there, but am back at it now.
Re-uploaded my earlier chapters after doing some editing. Decided on verb tenses for each of the story lines. Omachuck gave me some help with proofing. Big shout out to him.

First thing, I'm new to SOL and so far have enjoyed writing this story on this site. No idea how much folks enjoy reading it but putting it together has been a blast. The freedom to experiment is like a breath of fresh air. I shit you not.
It's nice writing without that pressure to be universally marketable or formulaic. The option to make my characters as gritty and honest as they need to be is sweet and while it's my first crack at writing erotica, well... what's not to like. I basically get to write my story for me while letting others in on it and do it all just for kicks.

Of course got to apologize for spelling and grammar mistakes. This is a rough draft and I'm constantly going back to clean that shit up. Currently figuring out the best way to tap into the editor services here as they seem invaluable.
I've always liked western and sci-fi so combining them is a no brainer in my mind. I'm trying to add historically accurate situations along with the action and suspense expected in the genre. We'll see by the end if I succeed.
Regardless it's been fun and I appreciate the feedback to date.
