I published my first story (Two Perspectives) on SOL almost four years ago – October 2020. Since then I have posted 31 stories. The first in the Fifty Something Teenager (FST) series came in January 2022. The last story I published was five months ago, National Masturbation Month (May 2024).
Aside: After seeing the stories again as I write this blog, I am amazed at how much my writing has changed (improved?) over time!
Not surprisingly, some stories have been more well-received than others. My most successful story, as measured by reader ratings, has been Reflections of a Convalescent. By far, my most popular tales, as measured by downloads, have been the FST series.
Next week, when I publish #14 in FST, The Final Decision, it will mark the end of the series. I have started a few stories with the intention of using the same characters again (e.g., Byproduct of an Office Re-org was going to have a sequel, Byproduct of a Hostile Takeover), but while the sequel was started, I never felt sufficiently motivated to finish it. With the FST series, I knew I wanted to write much shorter stories with the same characters. I also thought that by starting a series I would not be beholden to finishing a complete story and could publish updates as independent entries in the series.
With that background, I have decided to wrap up the series. I have had neither the time nor the motivation to write as much as I did a few years ago, but FST felt like it needed closure. Therefore, I carved out the time and dedicated myself to writing an ending. I won’t say I will never revisit these characters, or start another series, but for now, I wanted at least one more story to conclude the FST universe.
A huge thank you to everyone who has read the series and sent email – encouragement, comments, and even heads-up on typos! Without your support I would never have published so many stories in the series, or on SOL in general.
Thanks again and I hope you enjoy the conclusion to the FST series!

I just submitted the final chapters of National Masturbation Month to be published. The effort to write over thirty masturbation scenes was reflected in the characters' blasé attitude toward the act as the end of the month neared. Even so, this one was fun to write. I hope you enjoyed the story and maybe it inspired you to participate in the celebration of the month? Daily? Personally, not a chance I could or would make it over four weeks straight so didn't even try! Until the next adventure is published. Thanks for reading.

I posted my first submission to Stories Online in October 2020. I started Two Perspectives without knowing whether or not I would finish it, or if a half-written manuscript would languish on my hard drive. It turns out that I would finish it, and then go on to write 29 additional stories. Thirteen of which are part of my Fifty Something Teenager (FST) series. I started the FST series without a grand plan, but a vague notion of a series of interconnected tales with the same characters. Now, this series is easily the most popular of my stories.
In total, all of my stories account for 500,000+ words, 225 chapters, written on 1,300+ pages. While these numbers pale in comparison to many of the very prolific authors on the site, I am happy with them given that I wasn't sure if the first story would have even been completed over three years ago.
This short post is both a pat-on-the-back to myself, but more importantly, a huge, heart-felt, Thank You to everyone who has read, rated, and sent email on the two-and-half dozen tales that are now part of my collection.
Thanks again and happy reading!

I am well into new story in three parts that is currently over 100 pages (~40K words) after part two. However, in the past few weeks I received a few emails asking if more of the Fifty Something Teenager (FST) series is coming.
When I finished the first draft of part two of the longer story, I decided to change gears and do another FST. The first draft of FST#10 is done. Now it needs several rounds editing. I hope to start publishing the latest FST sometime early next week! Stay tuned.

After publishing a story I add it to a spreadsheet where I track various metrics (e.g., the title, number of pages, number of words, character names used). With the recent publication of Study Abroad (overall my 24th story, the ninth in the Fifty Something Teenager series) I reached a milestone: over 1,000 pages written in published stories.
While that total is a drop in the bucket compared to the many prolific authors here on SOL, it's not bad for someone who only writes occasionally, and whose first story was published just over two years ago on a lark!
< Pat on the back />
Thanks for reading. Carry on.
