Whew. Made it. I know some people are going to be upset with the way the story ended, but don't worry. The next book will pick up right where this one left off. I'm already 3 chapters in and my editors are doing their thing. The first chapter of book two will be released in a week or so.
I've just uploaded new versions of chapters 1-3. They're mostly the same as they were before, but my amazing and sexy crew of editors has helped me clean out a bunch of typos and restructure some sentences to be less awkward or ambiguous.
I'v also added about 3000 words worth of additional content through the chapters, adding extra details and revising things to keep the continuity straight. Some things have evolved as the story progresses, and I have to go back and make sure all the old details match the new ones. Like Captain Vex's hair color, for instance. Originally when I outlined the story, she was a blond. Then, for reasons I don't remember, when I got to her actual intro in the story, I described her as a redhead. She's back to blond now. (I have my reasons!)
Anyway, the current versions are the ones I feel are finished and polished. I don't anticipate making any more significant changes to those chapters.
I'm writing chapter 10 now. I just published chapter 6 on Patreon, and chapter 4 here. We're just getting started!

Launching this story has been a long time coming. I have about 50k words written so far, and I feel like I've barely gotten started. My plan is to release chapters on Patreon, and then release them here a month later. Each chapter is between 5k and 15k words so far.
The hope is that eventually I'll be able to support myself through writing, and this is the first big step towards that goal.
