I have been getting occasional messages from readers over the past months asking when the next installment of Tom Carter's unwilling adventures with mind control will continue.
There have been two installments so far, one ("A Talent For Influence") dealing with his time through high school, learning about his new talents and how to control them, and a second ("Honing The Talent") detailing his first year at college and his new discoveries about his capabilities.
Alas, my muse is fickle and I suspect something of a closet lush, because he/she is not always lucid or responsive, so it's slow going. But the good news is that I've been plugging away doggedly at the third installment and the end is now within spitting distance.
This one will cover the summer following his freshman year, and his sophomore year at college. He will learn more about how his transformation came about and find that he's not entirely alone. He will also find that the people responsible for his condition are back after having their initial research project shut down, trying to trace the victims of their experiments and pick up where they left off.
I hope it won't be long now. It's taken me far too much time to get this far so apologies in advance for the wait.
