Really had hoped to be done, but I think I have 2-3 more chapters before it's to where I want.

However, it was starting to pile up, so posting the 4 chapters that have been sent to editor this week - 25-30k words, a nice chunk.

I am glad to hear from each and everyone that bothers to send feedback, even if it's only to beg for more chapters - nice to know that my little stories resonated with someone.

Plans are still to finish up book 3 of Niki and Max, this week perhaps, but at least month. Should be somewhere between 20 and 25 chapters, so depending on how far you've gotten, you've got a bit to look forward to. Not that there will never be more Niki and Max, but I do need to spend some time with others.

Becca and the Camp are long overdue for some love, and I have been eager to get back to the hills of Grass Valley, but I sort of changed gears this year, and am intent on publishing more 'books' rather than a chapter here and a chapter there - hence why 25 chapters of Niki and Max are coming out before I get back to the camp.

Most of you know I write some of these in conjunction with others, and cooperative writing has a pace of it's own, but things do continue, and other than Brian's Housekeeper, both Maeson's Assistant and a Robin have had some new work, it's just not quite to a good breaking point.

Finally, about the time I get back on Camp J, you should see a new book about the goings on at a most unusual car/bus repair shop.

Three chapters in bound - all pretty long - in the past would have probably been five chapters, but did not have 'good' breaking points.

Brian's New Housekeeper is unfortunately on hiatus - writing partner has some real life issues - still intent on continuing.

Another chapter from Robin is due this month - wrapping up soon - we've started a new story but it's in it's early stages.

Similarly with Maeson's new Full Time Assistant - work is ongoing, but a bit slow right now - life happens.

Enjoy the bits of Niki's life for those who have been waiting - for those that want more of Kimber or Robin - I apologize for the continued delay.

Well, things are moving along - just because I don't post every week does not mean Niki and the girls are idle.

6 more chapters of Niki's Family life are back from the editor and will be up soon!

Maeson's Full Time Assistant - the continuing adventues of Maeson and Kimber are finally underway - much requested - thought only a few chapters are in the hands of the editor so far - Maeson and I, fresh from the Notebook of Dr. E, are hard at work, I promise.

New story, new partnership, a bit slower than my others, but I hope you can see the glimpses of Niki in the new story about Brian and his sister/housekeeper. Slow is not always bad, I promise!

In any event, stay tuned, chapters should start showing up today/this week!

A recent email made me wonder if I had not been clear enough in all my stories.

I know this is over the top. I am inspired, somewhat, by Phil Phantom - definitely over the top. But very fun to read.

I leave the realistic romantic stuff to others that do it so much better.

There is no camp like Camp J - it would be shut down and everyone arrested that was over 18, and everyone put in foster care who was not. It's not appropriate/legal/or a good thing.

But what if it was -- that's what I write.

Same with Niki and Max. No school in their right mind would allow any of that to happen. There may be a stepbrother as mean as Niki, but the corruption into willing participant just doesnt happen. But what if it could. What if could have - that's what drives my imagination. What if I had just let loose and let things happen, embarace all those naughty thoughts.

Excellent fodder for fantasy

Terrible idea. I'd likely be dead.

That being said - folks that like things a bit more realistic and write it that way - kudo's, I loved something like My Sister Jane.

But it's not me.

Enjoy my attempts to let my wildest imaginations and fantasies come to life.

And yes, I know, resolution of 10 concurrent stories would be grand, and I honestly tried with Camp J... but I hit a wall and found myself wanting to go back to Cooper and Milo. So enjoy the 50k+ words about Niki, and hold on for more on Becca -- I have it plotted, roughly, but I need to be inspired to write it down.
