First let me apologize to those of you who have been waiting far too long for the next chapter of "Beth." Between a case of writer's block, inexperience as a wordsmith, and computer problems I'm way behind.
When I started Beth I was assuming it would be just a short story just to see if I had any talent for writing, so I wasn't prepared for a full-length book and I've discovered that there's a lot more research and back-checking involved when a story gets past a certain length. That brings me to the computer problem... some of my note files were lost when a machine glitch and some missing backup files left me with no option but to re-read the entire series and re-create my notes and reference docs.
I'm more than a little embarrassed by this since I used to be an IT guy.
I'm almost done with the disaster recovery and most of Chapter Three is drafted, so PLEASE stick with me.
