The economy finally caught up with me. Fortunately, I have not lost my job, however I have basically been doing the work of 3 people in order to help keep the company going and myself employed. I'm sure you can understand that I was more interested in keeping the job I had, even if it was driving me crazy, than taking the risk of unemployment in the current job market.
I have barely had time to collapse on a couch and mindlessly fall asleep watching TV, much less actually had any energy to use for writing. I've been logging into CHYOO and quickly giving approvals, but that 15 minutes a week is about all the time or energy for creative outlet I have had in the last year.
The good news is that as of Monday I am down to only doing two peoples' work, and hopefully in the next month I will finally be back to a single job title. Rather than promise anything, especially after how badly my last promise turned out, I will merely say that this story is not dead and I do intend to get back to it once I have a life again. Sorry to let everyone down, and I hope you can understand what has been going on.
