a few months ago i got hit with ransomware. to get my files back they want 3000 bitcoins. It also hit my thumb drive as it was in my usb as well. so i lost everything including everything i wrote in the last 2 years. good news i was able to recover off another thumb drive that was last used in 2017
i hate ppl who write viruses.

Just wanted to say thank you all. Its slow going. Having to use a slide board to get in bed to my wheelchair to my commode is a pain when i used to stand on one foot to do it. As to writing, i am doing some, mostly trying to finish a hp fanfic called Island of Ilha da Queimada Grande which means the Island of snakes. Its an island off the coast of Brazil which has 1 poisonous snake every three feet or that's what i got when i watched the documentary on it. Yes i do write fanfic and you can find them on the fanfiction.net site under Monbade. I write BSG, and HP plus a some star wars and walking dead crossovers. The island one is basically Harry by the luck of the gods kills Voldemort at the ministry after he tried to posses him. He then finds out what the true depths of Dumbledore and Molly plan for him and he leaves England to hide. What better place then an island of snakes :)

In august i had emergency surgery on my remaining foot. The doc wanted to remove it but i said no. Well it wasn't as bad as the doc thought but he did have to remove some dead flesh that was under a giant blister i formed while using the foot to stand and turn. I spent a week in the hospital and was transferred to rehab where i was in isolation due to the infection in my foot. Got that cleared up and was working to be able to come home when i developed a UTI and was sent back to the hospital for another week which ruined all my work of getting home. Started getting everything back to normal and developed another infection due to the antibiotics they gave me that killed all the good germs in my colon. This caused me to be on a different antibiotic and another fifteen days of isolation. i came home Friday and haven't been able to do much. Why did i come home if i wasn't ready was my insurance. Not sure when I'll get any writing done but will try.

Wanted to wish you all Happy T-day. I am getting better and writing has returned to my interest after being so sick for three years. I am currently working on an original story called Shipwrecked (not posted) and fanfiction for FFnet. In the last week i have finished at least 10 chapters of different fanfics and plugged away at my Shipwrecked new chapter as well.
I wanted to say thank you for everyone who emailed me. Currently i have the shrinker on, which is to make my thigh compress so i can one day (cross fingers)get the prosthesis. Think of it like a compression sock.
Inside Rehab, i have been working on weight lifting, trying to use crutches, bars to make it so i can use a step. I have been walking (hopping) with a walker, Which is about 40 feet. Stretching the leg muscles to prepare for the prosthesis. Building my endurance is the primary thing.
Tenderloin, aka as JIM will be getting the trailer i rent up and running. I need a extender for the toilet, bars for the toilet so i can get up and down but the biggest is the ramp. My landlord said he'd put one in but nothing has been started and there is no way i can use the steps.
Rehab, been fighting my insurince they keep trying to kick me out and my therapest say i am not ready, hell they wanted to kick me out 7 days after i got here and i hadnt even stood.
Medical, still waiting on if i'll get a wheelchair or i will have to buy it. I will also need several other medical items i am hoping will be covered.
Writing, haven't touched ch 15 of Book 4 of destroyers. Been working on a BSG fan fiction and a story called Shipwrecked which is being posted in my subscription section on my site.
