I can promise that once the first few short chapters are done with, the story goes from relaxed to rushing, and as characters and plot twists are added, you will have plenty to keep you occupied and amused.
There also is a pick up in tension between the two main characters as the voyage gets underway- which I'm sure everyone will enjoy. After all, who doesn't want the sexy pirate to get the troublesome and tempestuous goddess?
