Well, the craziness continues. My disabled son just turned 18, and I severely underestimated how much time all the governmental stuff was going to eat up. That's on top of my hours going up significantly.
I finally finished the first pass edit of SOTM Ch. 20, and I'm moving it into the final stages. Thank heavens for vacation, or I still probably wouldn't have it done.
Hoping I'm through the worst of it now, but every time I think that, I get two more packets of stuff I have to fill out and mail back in. We'll see.
Regardless, Ch. 20 should be out within a couple of weeks.
Came down sick, and then got slammed with long hours at work. I'm honestly still not at 100%, but I'm going to get back to work on the SOTM Ch. 20 edit on my next two days off.
I've had a lot going on. Taxes. Work changes. Etc. It's made getting the edit for Ch. 20 difficult to make time for. On top of that, it's half again as long as the average chapter.
It is in progress, and I'm going to hit the next step later this evening. I also caught myself in a continuity error in Ch. 21, so I'm having to fix several scenes and transitions in that in order to get back on track. It's at about the halfway mark, minus those tweaks.
I just put Ch. 19 of Sisters of the Mists into the queue. It should go up in the morning, if it doesn't get posted in the overnight hours.
I have Ch. 20 complete as well, and it's going through the editing process now. Ch. 21 is about half done.
I can't promise any sort of schedule for posting, but at least I finally got past the log jam in my head to get the story moving again.
For anyone who might see this, I've finally got my mojo back on SOTM. The first drafts of Chapters 19 and 20 are complete, and Chapter 21 is underway. Chapter 20 is even an extra long chapter.
I'll begin posting the new chapters around the second week of January. How often they'll get released is a question. I'm going to try to gauge the first three by how close I am to completing Ch. 21.
After that, it's dependent upon my time to write and my muse.
