There are times in life when the only way to gain a reward is to take a risk. The greater the risk, the greater the reward.
The tale continues with a deduction-and a courageous response. Sometimes it takes more guts to be a pacifist than a fighter.
This is an open invitation: It's been a very long time since I've received any feedback from readers. If you have something to say about what I've written--be it praise or criticism--I'd love to hear it. Let me know what you think; it's the best way for me to improve my craft. The readership, and the ever-improving vote tally, tell me that I'm on the right track, but more specific comments would also be helpful. Thanks.
I want to take this opportuniy to thank those of you who've already found this story interesting enough to have bought the sequels on Amazon (where I've published all of my novels for Kindle). And those, too, who've been too impatient to wait for the day-to-day posting here and picked up Eden as well. The postings are word-for-word. But it does take a while to do it one chapter at a time as I do here.
I've kept the cost of all my books on Amazon way down (and post here for free) because., like all authors, I want as many readers as possible. The only reason that I charge anything at all pn Amazon is because, in the world that is, people value whar they pay for more than what they get gratis. Thanks again to those who've shown that they do value my work. I enjoyed writing all these stories, and am terribly flattered that others are enjoying reading them.
Still lots more to come on Eden. We're not a lot more than halfway done at this point.
The morning after. After a very eventful day. And new beginnings in many ways.
