I've just put my latest story, Meiying's Diary, in the queue for posting. It's a young woman's diary and just one 'chapter', unlike 'The Loser' (Yes, I am still working on it).

Meiying was supposed to be a minor character in another story I am working on but she demanded a place in the spotlight.

The story is 100% fiction unless Meiying convinced my muse to relay her story through me.

I would like to thank all of those who responded to my request for editors and proofreaders. I have responded to each of them and look forward to their input.

The new story will be posted as soon as I make any changes.

I have a COMPLETED story about ready to post. I just need a proofreader and editor to look it over for me. If you would like to volunteer then drop me a line. It started out as an interlude for another story but the original story became so convoluted I put it aside for now.

'The Loser' is still in the works but as yet I find myself trying to force the words onto the screen. I've seen many comments by the more prolific (and popular) authors saying that "if you have to force the words then you are doing something wrong". I remember when I first started 'The Loser' the words flowed like water. Now it's more like motor oil at 20 below.

I do have a follow-up, or rather a continuation of 'Last Christmas' down to what I thought would be the final chapters, but the characters keep fighting me and demanding more 'screen time'.

My reasons for having not posted new chapters.

My muse seems to have abandoned me.
I lack motivation.
I'm too busy to write.
I'm too bored to write.
I can't think of anything to write.
I don't like what I wrote.
I have a headache.
I've been sick.
The weather has been too nice.
It's too hot.

Worthless excuses, every one of them.

SOL is changing its feedback system as of June 3, 2017 (Today). All future feedback will be handled internally within SOL. Lazeez Jiddan (the Webmaster) will provide more details about this.
