I got my Covid-19 shot today. No problems. Now the wife has me enrolled in an obedience class. Still, no problem. But I have to draw the line. I will not ware a collar and leash......At least not yet.
Have a good balance of the day.
When I see a story that interests me, I read the first chapter. If I feel it is my kind of story and it states "To be continued" I check the author's other posted stories. If I see a lot of stories with "Incomplete and Inactive", I will never go back to that story or author.
There are a lot of good stories that I keep track of and read but I just can't waste my time to get involved in a story and then be left hanging out to dry. So when I see a lot of that phrase "Incomplete and Inactive" in an author's catalog, if you will, I will just ignore him and move on.
In closing, if you are that kind of author, may be you should finish your stories before starting new ones.
There are a lot of good authors here and I enjoy reading there stories, even the series. Almost like going to the movies when I was young. "What will happen to our hero. Will he get out of danger before it's to late. Come back next weekend to see the never ending conclusion." I know, that was just a joke.
I was reading a story awhile back about a GI that just got discharged and was hitch-hiking his way to California and was picked up by two sisters.
I really liked the story and wanted to re-read it but I forgot the title. If you know it or the author, please drop me a note.
Those types of short stories are my favorite where some lost soul, male or female, get rescued.
If you know of such a story, also drop me a note.
Thanks
After being told I need one, I have posted a request for an editor at request an editor. Take a look if interested.
If you read my story "Firsts", you will know I found the girl of my dreams. The only problem is, it is about 50 years to late.
I finally ran in to her. Meaning I literally met her face to face as I turned around by my locker and there she was. I pardoned myself and we exchanged names.
She is a part time college student around 20.
If anything comes out of this (I doubt there will) I will post a sequel story.
