With permission from Charlie For Now, an edit and rewrite of his story. I thought it would make a great straight girl story, and with his permission, here it is. He showed me a picture of his muse for Stephanie, and my oh my, is she a cutie! The lead's cousin, Charlene, is too, for that matter. Please enjoy this short, but poignant, little read. CP
Sitting at her desk, Jennifer is approached by a customer. A very common pickup line, used by a very uncommon suitor, with a very wonderful result. The violence is short and sweet, but very, very necessary.
Getting short on acceptable applicants, Farley Bigg, Esq., Attorney at Law, finally finds an associate lawyer for his firm. In doing so, he also finds happiness and plenty of company.
Robert Danner had cows. He did not have a girlfriend. A year after he met Maria Chernov, his customer's translator, that changed. Part of it. He still had cows. Lots of them. Then he had a girlfriend, then another, and... Don't feel sorry for Robert Danner. He's just fine.
THERE WAS THIS GIRL. A big warm thank you goes out to Charlie for letting me post in his new universe. Career Development courses being what they are, normally boring beyond comprehension, it's good to find excitement while attending one. Charla certainly did, and changed her and Toni's lives forever. Charlie said he'd help me with the universe posting thing when he gets it figured out. :-D
Stanley finds a hitchhiking runaway without a plan. That doesn't last long, though, as the runaway comes up with a good one, saving a broken relationship while creating a new one. Romance abounds.
