In 1969, Emily gets her hands on two tickets to Woodstock, and invites her new and innocent boyfriend, Jesse, to join her on a steamy road trip across the country. Jesse struggles with his submissive feelings when Emily is attracting attention from many other men. While Emily, on the other hand, is a free soul who is drawn to the excitement of the festival.
