A story set in the Pinwheel Universe
Cal leaves the grassy plains of Franklin behind when he receives a job offer to travel to an uncharted planet in the Epsilon Eridani system. The jungle world of EE-4 – recently liberated from enemy occupation – is now being colonized by some of the Coalition’s most exotic alien allies. Exploring the planet and documenting its native species is a challenge, but learning to get along with his enigmatic guide and his excitable sherpa might be even harder.

Ethan lands his dream job when he accepts the position of facility manager at an old, run-down high-rise building in the heart of Manhattan, but he's ill-prepared for the supernatural dangers that await him.

When a hapless museum archivist damages an ancient obsidian mirror, he releases the trapped spirit of an Aztec war Goddess. Given no choice but to attach herself to him, the deity takes up residence in his life, whether either of them likes it or not. If the pair can learn to stop bickering, they might be able to secure both a crucial promotion and the deity’s continued existence.

Set in the Pinwheel universe, a landing craft on a mission to a remote jungle planet is shot down, the only survivors are the reluctant human pilot, and a wounded Borealan warrior. To his dismay she declares her intentions to complete their mission, if he will give his help willingly or otherwise. Forced to cooperate, the two must overcome their differences if they want to survive.

Splashdown Remastered: Stranded in an alien jungle during a botched mission, a plucky shuttle pilot and a fierce alien warrior must learn to overcome their differences if they want to survive their ordeal. (This story has been re-edited and improved to bring it up to my current standards.) Housecat: Zhari and McGregor take some much deserved shore leave, and the wily pilot takes full advantage of his dominant position over the alien to explore the limits of her submissive nature.
