Sci-fi wars between worlds; history repeated; politics at many levels; no sex at all at all, a thread of lust very occasionally though; heroes, well perhaps you'd believe clowns stumbling from triumph to triumph with exponential improbability only to have a new disaster confront them.

A stand alone , better if read Book 1; the usual culprits, plus; still as exponentially improbable; still no sex and still not very romantic; adventure across the galaxy; some good against some evil; politics and war; the odd(very) battle against improbable odds and hopes for a future

another parallel story in that famous universe. Politics in a future galaxy leading to a war. Two descendents of genetically engineered soldiers establish themselves with friends in the conflict in a position to survive. Still no descriptive sex. Lust yes. Love perhaps. Mayhap even a future amid the scheming and conniving.
