Working late in the old newspaper building, Charlie hears some strange noises. Upon investigation, he finds the ghost that has supposedly haunted the building since its construction -- and she thinks that Charlie is her husband.

Sitting in a bar one night, our narrator flashes back to the night he and his now wife each lost their virginity while out parking by the lake -- and the current misery that was created by that night. Based on the Meatloaf hit "Paradise by the Dashboard Light"

It's 6 p.m. when Roger suddenly comes to the realization that it's Valentine's Day and he doesn't have a gift for his wife Diane. He makes an effort, but still ends up going home empty handed -- where he finds Diane ready to give him exactly what he wants.

A business trip and jet lag has our narrator thinking it's the middle of the night. Instead, it's the middle of the morning and his maid ends up servicing far more than a dirty room.
