What are the building blocks available to authors?

The site has five building blocks that can exist: Author, Universe, Series, Story and Part/Chapter.

Author or Pen Name:

An author can:

• Have an unlimited number of Universes.
• Have an unlimited number of Series.
• Have an unlimited number of Stories.
• Can share an unlimited number of Universes.

Universe:

A universe:

• Can have an unlimited number of series.
• Can have an unlimited number of Stories.
• Can be private (one author) or public (any author can post in it - example the 'Naked In School' universe).

Series:

A series:

• Can have unlimited stories.
• Can belong to only one author.

Story:

A story:

• Can have one or more parts/chapters (unlimited number).
• A story can have one or more authors (unlimited number).
• Can belong to either a series or universe.
• Cannot belong to more than one universe or series.
• Cannot belong separately to a universe and a series.

Part/Chapter:

A part or chapter can belong to only one story and it cannot exist on its own on the site.
