The South Pacific island nation of Poravuvu is known for its famous fertilizer mines and its strong willed independence. Unique for all of the other nations of Polynesia, it was never a colony or territory of any western (or eastern) imperialist power. Hundreds of generations of island priests have preserved tales from far antiquity that the original natives of the island did not arrive by boat... but from the stars! A chance meeting on the island with an extended family of so-called 'pulp heroes' during World War II has led nearly a century later to the fulfillment of a seemingly ridiculous and impossible goal straight from science fiction - to return the islanders of Poravuvu back to the stars! A science fiction series about a possible near future involving many Lovett/Wyldewood mythology elements
