Chapter 87

Dear Marissa and Will,

I have no idea which of you will receive this first, or if it will get to both of you. I hope it does, but things are happening so quickly that its hard to tell. I was surprised to hear that Will has been out of contact. I thought his route was predetermined and that he was going to stay in contact the whole time.

I was happy to hear from you Marissa. Once Erica is cleared I'll see if she cares to add her words. She might, although in the past she's shown little interest. She never met Will and over time she's grown very wary of most male sponsors. She was fine with the men in Third Company. They were all fathers and very respectful toward women.

The fact that they were quiet open in their admiration of Erica's drive and skill helped too. Erica was able to get to know them as people, which helped. When we did go on any after battle sex rampages, she didn't want the men to show any affection. Her interest was in having a hard cock rammed into her pussy. I know she loves Larry and was growing to care deeply for Frodo, but she didn't get along with most men. That's a huge part of the reason I outrank her. Major Fabio knew I was a bit better dealing with officers and other tank crews.

I did hear that Erica's trial will occur before I can travel to Borneo. I was told this while I was on Ishtar. We stayed only a day, but during that time the citizens there got in touch with Admiral Himmel. I was not asked to provide a new statement, but while I was resting and watching a hockey game. Real hockey, although only three on three. Somehow the citizens on the planet obtained authorization to put in a full ice rink. They even formed a hockey league. They set it up so that the teams are formed from each household. I watched one team formed by a large black man and his two beautiful ladies wear down a team made up of a trio of women. I heard one of the women in the trio was a supermodel back on Earth. All I know is that the women played a spirited game, and were cheered on by a male concubine who was a completely campy effeminate cheerleader. After the match I talked to the man and it was clear he was acting during the game. I guess he's not very good on the ice, so he asked if he could cheer for his mistress and her other concubines. They agreed, but not if he acted masculine.

I wish I was with Erica while we were at Ishtar. The citizens told me that their concubines have put together a great show. They offered to allow them to perform for me. (All of Freya's crew had seen it before, although several indicated that they would love to see it again.) I refused because without Erica it just did not feel right.

It was an amazing place though. I got to see their garden, meet the rabbits, chat with their people and just try to stop worrying for a moment. That was the hardest part.

Captain Walker did spend some time trying to cheer me up. She's not close with Admiral Himmel, but she does know him, and allowed me to see some of the messages she had sent to him regarding the situation on Darling Downs. They have been worrying about it even before Third Company was sent, and she'd had a few problems with Major Lynch. I guess the man had to report to Borneo about four months ago and Freya was used to transport him back to Darling Downs after the fight. I'm told that Major Lynch was a jerk to Lilith and even caused some trouble with several of the gunner's concubines. One thing I've discovered is that there is a movement in Borneo District that pushes a policy of treating concubines as loved companions. The captain of Freya is an adherent as is her crew.
