The world of Ain was a place where life had to struggle to survive. It was a world of one large continent divided by deep fiords. There were no forests on this world as the climate supported only small bush-like trees. Agriculture was able to exist only in small areas that were unable to support large populations. Most of the population existed as their ancestors had; wandering herdsmen following the grazing herds of cattle and goats that supported them.
