Chapter 2: As Told by Lin Wu

I hesitate because I do not understand why he is asking me this question.

“HOW TALL ARE YOU?” he shouts at me.

I jump at his demand and say quickly. “One point five meters.”

“Charlie?” Mr. Harvey says sharply.

Without looking up Charlie say. “Four foot nine inches.”

“How much do you weigh Mrs. Wu?”

“Thirty nine kilograms.” I say.

Charlie says. “Eighty six pounds.”

“Take off your dress Mrs. Wu.”

I hesitate. I look at Charlie and he still looking at floor

“Take off your dress NOW! Mrs. Wu.” Mr. Harvey say with anger in eye.
