I'm a grown-ass man, and generally fit the stereotype fairly well. I'm not generally interested in MM stories, though good writing trumps all, in my book. I love to read anything with real emotion to it, though I will occasionally dip into pure Stroke stories.
I love well-done BDSM elements, though most attempts fall flat. The rare exceptions are amongst my most favorite stories, however.
And I almost never enjoy SciFi stories (or TV shows, for that matter). Something about suspension of disbelief that just doesn't work, in most cases. Maybe I'm just getting old.
As a father to three girls and two boys, just about anything that has a 'lolita' tag, or extreme underage sex in some form, gets an instant pass from me. I won't read it, or review it. Write whatever you like, but I won't be reading it in almost any instance.
